Kieffer Walks Across America - Via Virtual

On January 1, 2004, I began my virtual walk across America following U.S. Route 50 in my road atlas. I tranfered to this on-line journal in Jul 04. The trip started at Ocean City, Maryland, and ended in San Francisco, Dec 14th, 2009. (3,127) miles. Recorded in this weblog was miles walked, destinations reached, interesting links, and personal reflections. Stopped and restarted a few times, but enjoyed the trip - venturing along this transcontinental Main Street.

Kendall, KS - 1,689 miles walked on "trip"

Moving west on Route 50 in Kansas the "Sunflower State". Approxmately 30 miles from Colorado/Kansas border. Just entering the Mountain Time Zone.
