Emporia wave 
On country roads out side of Emporia be prepared to do the country wave. When you pass a car or pickup truck going the other direction give a slight nod and while keeping your palm on the steering wheel open your fingers and give a waving gesture with your fingers. They will wave back to you almost every time. The only ones who don't wave are city people and tourists. And you don't want to be one of those do you? Bad cold and bad hip have slowed me down in the last month.
