Kieffer Walks Across America - Via Virtual

On January 1, 2004, I began my virtual walk across America following U.S. Route 50 in my road atlas. I tranfered to this on-line journal in Jul 04. The trip started at Ocean City, Maryland, and ended in San Francisco, Dec 14th, 2009. (3,127) miles. Recorded in this weblog was miles walked, destinations reached, interesting links, and personal reflections. Stopped and restarted a few times, but enjoyed the trip - venturing along this transcontinental Main Street.

Morning heart rate - 48. Walked 10 miles in very nice weather. Total miles 702. Approaching Versailes, IN. Tomorrow a rest day from walking. Versailles has a BBQ place on Main St near 10th Street called "Oink!". I bet they sell T-shirts.
