Kieffer Walks Across America - Via Virtual

On January 1, 2004, I began my virtual walk across America following U.S. Route 50 in my road atlas. I tranfered to this on-line journal in Jul 04. The trip started at Ocean City, Maryland, and ended in San Francisco, Dec 14th, 2009. (3,127) miles. Recorded in this weblog was miles walked, destinations reached, interesting links, and personal reflections. Stopped and restarted a few times, but enjoyed the trip - venturing along this transcontinental Main Street.

Walked 4.5 miles in Clarksburg Veterans Park. Total miles to date - 739.5. Thinking about the excellent results of lab test and my exam and recalled this quote: "Good health is merely the slowest rate at which one can die" Which leads me to another quote: "Don't ask me how he died, ask me how he lived"
