"BROOKS CATSUP BOTTLE WATER TOWER (1949) A couple of miles south of Route 50/Fairview Heights, IL. This unique structure held 100,000 gallons of water, not catsup. While some of the water was used in operation of the catsup factory, most was reserved for fire protection. By 1993 this 170 ft. tall landmark was showing signs of age. The
